This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out what may and may not be sourced, purchased, consolidated, shipped or paid for through BuyTCN. It supplements Section 10 of our Terms of Service, which points to this document as our full content policy. It applies to every request, message and instruction you send us.

Transparency & Policy Updates10. Contact UsBuyTCN is a purchasing and sourcing service. We do not host user-generated content and we do not operate a public publishing platform, so this policy addresses the instructions you give us and the goods and information you ask us to handle. It covers: the products you ask us to source, quote or purchase; the suppliers and listings you ask us to approach; the descriptions, images, links and documents you send us; the messages you send through our assistant or by email; and the use you make of anything we produce for you, such as quotes, inspection records and reports. It applies whether you send an instruction through our assistant, our forms, email, WhatsApp or WeChat.
The following will be actioned immediately and may be reported to authorities:
A member of our team reviews every request before a quote is issued, before a supplier is contacted and before any payment is made. Automated screening narrows the field; it does not make the decision. Where a request is borderline, the reviewer resolves it in favour of the policy rather than against it.
Every request you submit is screened automatically before any work begins. Our rules-based engine classifies the request and flags prohibited-category signals — including replica and counterfeit indicators, the prohibited categories above, and requests that fail our information checks. This rules-based classifier runs on every submission and is the basis for the classification shown to you. If a model-based assistant is ever added to help our staff, its output would not be treated as a final decision, and a member of our team would review it before anything is sent or decided.
On inputs, we check the product description, any link you provide, the brand status you declare, the quantity, the destination country and any documents or images you send. On outputs, we check the quotes, supplier summaries and inspection notes we prepare before they reach you — specifically that we have not asserted anything we cannot verify, and that no prohibited category has been introduced during our own research.
We classify violations as L1 Critical (child safety, terrorism, mass violence — zero tolerance), L2 High (deliberate deception, fraud, sanctions evasion, repeat obstruction), L3 Medium (attempting a prohibited category, supplying materially false information), and L4 Low (accidental or minor policy breaches, incomplete information). The tier determines the response time in Section 6 and the action taken under Section 7.
Please report anything you believe breaches this policy. This includes a supplier offering counterfeit or prohibited goods, a listing we have sent you that you believe infringes your rights, anyone using BuyTCN to deceive or defraud, and any content we have produced that you believe is inaccurate or unlawful. Reports about child safety or imminent harm are treated as L1 and actioned first.
We acknowledge every report, we do not require you to have an account, and we will not disclose your identity to the person you report without your consent unless we are legally required to. We will tell you the outcome where we can. Reports made in good faith will not affect your own use of the Service, even if we conclude no breach occurred.
Reports can be sent through any of the following, all of which are monitored: the report option in your request thread, which records the report against the request; email to services@buytcn.com; or WhatsApp on +86 153 8759 2595 for urgent child-safety or imminent-harm reports. If you are reporting something unrelated to an existing request, email is the fastest route.
Reports are triaged using the severity tiers in Section 3.4 and are responded to within the following windows. Child-safety and terrorism content cannot sit in a queue.
If extended processing is required, we will notify the reporter proactively with reasons. Our processing workflow is: received (automatic acknowledgement to the reporter) → triage (classified L1–L4) → review (automated screening plus human review) → decision → enforcement → notification to both the reporter and the account holder.
| Violation type | Initial response | Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| L1 — Critical | Within 2 hours | Within 24 hours |
| L2 — High | Within 24 hours | Within 3 business days |
| L3 — Medium | Within 3 business days | Within 7 business days |
| L4 — Low | Within 5 business days | Within 15 business days |
We apply only actions we can actually carry out. Enforcement escalates with severity and with repetition.
Where an action affects an order already in progress, we will tell you what can and cannot be stopped, and we refund amounts paid for work not performed, in accordance with Section 7.2 of the Terms of Service.
| Action | Measure | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Warning | Written notice explaining the issue and what must change | First-time minor violation |
| 2. Request declined | The request is declined and no work is started; any amount paid for unperformed work is refunded | Prohibited category, or information we could not verify |
| 3. Content correction | Material we produced that is inaccurate is corrected or withdrawn | Confirmed L3–L4 error on our side |
| 4. Feature restriction | Reduced request volume or manual approval required for further requests | Repeat minor violation or a single L3 |
| 5. Account suspension | Temporary suspension of access pending review | L2, or cumulative violations |
| 6. Permanent ban | Permanent termination of access | L1, or repeat L2 |
| 7. Legal action | Reported to the authorities and cooperation with any investigation | Criminal-level L1 |
You may appeal an enforcement decision. Appeals are reviewed by a reviewer independent of the original decision — an appeal decided by the same person who made the call is not an appeal. To appeal, reply to the notice you received or email services@buytcn.com with your request ID and the reasons you believe the decision was wrong, within 30 days of the notice. We will acknowledge your appeal within 2 business days and aim to decide it within 10 business days. New information we did not have when the original decision was made is the strongest basis for an appeal, so include it if you have it.
We publish the categories we enforce and the enforcement actions we take, as set out above, rather than keeping them internal. We will update this policy as the law, our service or the risks change. Material changes are notified by email at least 14 days before the effective date, and every version is published at https://sourcing.buytcn.com/aup.html with its version number and effective date so you can see what applied at any point in time. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
Every channel below is monitored. Reports, appeals and urgent child-safety matters all reach a person.
